2019

In 2019, I have moved out of Colorado and back to the NYC area. With this change, it felt appropriate to also create a shift in my work, starting with the medium. No longer working with acrylics, wood or power drills, I am exploring and experimenting in watercolors and colored paper. The work is taking on a language of its own as I find myself relaxing more into a quiet serenity with the means in which I handle the delicate tissue paper, the watercolors both light and refreshing.

Whereas my work in 2018 mixed hard metal against paint with power drills to carve, scrape, and other violent gestures, my work this year is taking a turn for the etheric. I continue to explore the Higher energies around and within me and aim to bring a visual poetry to what I perceive in meditations.
